How to really make your mom mad!!!

Grace has a blanket over her body in the hallway and says 

"Mom, is it okay to write on myself?".  I knew I was in for a rough afternoon.  Grace wrote all over herself and her sister with PERMANENT markers (feet, legs, arms, hands, face, head, stomach, CLOTHES).  I guess I learned my lesson on supervising crafts and reading the labels. (Ashley's decorated legs)  I was sooooo MAD!

Grace's 5th Birthday!

Grace celebrated her 5th birthday.  She wanted a Madagascar theme birthday.

Day after Christmas nature walk

We took a little nature walk the day after Christmas.  There was plenty of fresh Christmas snow.

Reno sledding team!

The girls tried out the sleds on our neighbor's driveway.  It was chilly but great fun! Soon we'll have no snow left because Ashley is eating it all.

First snowman

This time there was enough snow to make our first snowman.

Grace and Andy did a great job!  There was just enough time for a little snow play before it started snowing again.

Decorating the tree

It's a very tall tree, a little on the thin side, but it has lots of character!

After all that decorating we spent a little time by the warm fire.
